How It All Started

Little Beams Studio didn’t start with a grand business plan—it started on my couch, late at night, after putting the kids to bed. I was mindlessly scrolling through Instagram when I saw a custom baby sign that stopped me in my tracks. Something about it sparked that old creative itch, and without even thinking, I said to myself, “I bet I can make that.”

So I tried. One design turned into another, and soon my kitchen table was covered in sketches, wood samples, and ideas I couldn’t stop thinking about. Friends started asking for signs, then friends of friends, and suddenly this little experiment was turning into something real.

With my background as a CG animator, creating has always been part of my DNA—but this felt different. This felt personal. Every sign I made was for a mom like me, a family starting a new chapter, a baby about to meet the world for the first time.

That tiny spark from one IG post grew into Little Beams Studio: a place where I get to create simple, meaningful, customized pieces that help families celebrate the moments they never want to forget.
